Usually, one of the things people look for in a pre-owned car is the lack of what laymen call "stories," and I'm here to tell you that in actuality, stories make cars more desirable, and based on that criteria, the desirability of this car ranks somewhere between a bar of solid gold and a first edition holographic Charizard.

The entire story of this car and its dramatic rebirth is on YouTube for you to enjoy, but in case you're the readin' type, here's a few things you need to know about this gem of a Bentley

- 2004 Bentley Continental GT, Black exterior, Black interior
- 550-HP 6.0L W12 with twin turbos
- 49,000 miles (that number may or may not be correct depending on who you ask)
- Clean title (just don't look at the CarFax)
- No accidents (No major ones anyhow)
- $225,000 Original MSRP (adjusted for inflation)
- Spent 10 great years traveling abroad (mostly Russia), then returned to the states, presumably to influence an election
- Previous owners include some old people in Florida, 6 Russian people who couldn't be bothered to pay their car note, one good YouTuber, and one less good YouTuber.
- Newly installed 2006 Flying Spur engine (with 40,000 actual miles on it)
- 19" upgraded Mulliner wheels
- New brakes, tires, engine/trans mounts, heat exchangers, and a ton of other parts that would be sure to ruin a party if mentioned to non-car people
- Massaging seats (because you deserve it)
- AC works well, heating works well, mix them together and they cancel each other out
- It weighs more than a Range Rover so don't think you're getting great fuel mileage
- No warning lights on dash because center cluster display doesn't work
- Backseats are only useful if your children really hate the blood flow in their legs
- Bentley badge is missing from front of car, you could just put any logo there, no one will know.
- Despite weighing the equivalent of a medium sized aircraft carrier, 0-60 times are in the 4 second range. No idea how that's possible, to be honest.
- Fully loaded, unless you want things like bluetooth, accurate navigation, Apple CarPlay, or any other useful amenity created in the past 15 years
- It has paddle shifters. You will not use them.
- Parts are reasonably cheap to buy, but installation will destroy your life for years to come
- Cooler than anything else in this price range, it'll show your neighbor Dan across the street that his Camry XSE wasn't such a great deal after all

For this symbol of absolute exquisite beauty, I'm asking $38,000 or best offer, or trade. While the story may be troublesome at first, every issue has been solved and mechanically, the car is in much better shape than any other example in this range, and it looks and feels just like a distinguished British car should, at least how it should if its underpinnings were all made by the people that brought you the Audi 5000.
